Q1: Do I need KYC verification to join?
No. You can register and join with Social Login. No identity documents are required.
Q2: What is the minimum amount required to participate?
The minimum margin for a single perps trade is 50 USDC. You can choose your own leverage. Leaderboard entry thresholds are:
- Volume leaderboard: cumulative notional trading volume >= 2,000 USDC.
- PnL leaderboard: cumulative notional trading volume >= 2,000 USDC and total PnL > 0 to qualify for rewards.
- Options payout leaderboard: cumulative option payout >= 100 USDC and at least 1 Aqua Options early close or ITM settlement.
- Referral leaderboard: invite at least 1 valid new user to enter the board.
Q3: Does high leverage affect how rankings are calculated?
Yes, but the effect depends on the leaderboard:
- Volume leaderboard: ranked by contract notional value. Higher leverage increases notional volume and may help improve ranking.
- PnL leaderboard: ranked by total campaign PnL. Higher leverage can amplify both profit and loss, so trade responsibly.
- Options payout leaderboard: ranked by cumulative payout from early close proceeds and ITM settlement payout.
- Referral leaderboard: unrelated to your personal trading volume or leverage. Only valid invited users are counted.
Q4: Can I participate in all four categories at the same time?
Yes. Every participant is automatically tracked across all four categories. No separate registration or mode switching is needed. In theory, the same user can win rewards in multiple categories.
Q5: How is the PnL leaderboard calculated?
PnL Rank is ranked by total campaign PnL: realized PnL during the campaign plus unrealized PnL at the system snapshot time. Campaign volume must be at least 2,000 USDC and total PnL must be above 0 to qualify for rewards. Final rewards use the activity-end snapshot.
Q6: Does my referral link expire?
No. Your dedicated referral link remains valid throughout the 15-day campaign and can be shared at any time. An invited user counts as valid if they make a first deposit during the campaign of at least 10 USDC, and reach cumulative notional trading volume of at least 2,000 USDC. Users who meet the deposit or volume requirements after the campaign ends will not count toward this campaign.
Q7: Can USDC rewards be withdrawn?
Yes. Once USDC rewards are distributed to your participating account, they are treated like regular assets. You can withdraw them to an external address or continue trading on the platform. There is no lock-up period.
Q8: How often are the leaderboards updated?
Leaderboards are updated every hour throughout the campaign.
Q9: Can a negative PnL account appear on the PnL leaderboard?
No. Accounts with non-positive total PnL are hidden from the PnL leaderboard display. Rewards are assigned to the remaining positive-PnL accounts by displayed rank.
